We have an INCREDIBLE bunch of new TUFF fighters, as well as some of your favorites, for 2010! The new fighters have been practicing consistently, learning quickly, and hungering for more. The time off we took was well spent regrouping and rethinking TUFF, and the results are already evident! The Live Event April 17 is going to be awesome! We already have some clips of the new fighters on youtube.com/drpuck, and a new video for 2010, TUFF 10001, pitting newcoming Jessica against returning TUFF fighter Val. You want to check all of it out! ALSO, TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW for the April 17 Live Event! Limited seating at this venue, so get your tickets early!

FEBRUARY 5:

We are in the midst of recruiting some great new local fighters for 2010! Had four come to work out this week, and they all excelled. You are going to love the new faces iof TUFF! We also have some great new out-of-town fighters who want to come to TUFF. We are going to post their photos and bios, and ask our fans to sponsor their travel to TUFF for training and filming!! You get special treatment for that! Also, some of the girls who really established themselves in 2009 will be back for more fighting! 2010 IS GOING TO ROCK!

Live Event is now scheduled for April 17 at Paradocks Grille in Chesapeake. Putting the final touches on that next week!

Sweettart ran into flight trouble, and weather (VA Beach had 9 inches of snow!), and could not make it to film fights with us in January. She will be back again, and the first match scheduled is her vs Val.

WINTER UPDATE:

Here's an update about some of the girls and what's the latest at TUFF...

We took some time off after the incredible Sept 19 live event to regroup and give the girls a much needed rest!

Lizzie is recovering from a shoulder injury sustained outside of TUFF....we hope she is available by spring

Tracey moved and started a new job, but should be back soon

Em has moved away and will have a difficult time getting back to TUFF any time soon

Alexis has a back injury sustained outside of TUFF and is healing...

Cherry and Darkstar have retired

We are hoping Brooke and Phoenix return soon

We have contacted Steel and are hoping she makes a comeback

Sweettart has been in Iraq serving our country, but will be back in late January. She looks great, has been doing extra workouts and is excited to come back and fight.

Kalie was ill but is better and will be back in action this month

Fox (Lizzy) has been captain of her (boys) HS wrestling team this year, and is undefeated going into regionals. She has begun training two new girls for TUFF who look great. And if they fight like Fox, we are in for a treat.

Bria has been taking CrossFit classes

Leslie has been busy with school but should be back soon

Jessica had her tonsils out and should be back soon

Laura O has been picking colleges

Shelby and Kat are waiting to deliver ;)

Samantha has been working out independently

Val has been recruiting new girls

We have been recruiting new girls, and expect to have some up for you to see by the end of January.

We have stayed in touch with other out of town girls (Ellie, Amber, Raven, Ashley and more) and hope to see them soon.

To put on another incredible show, TUFF needs corporate sponsors. We are focusing on that and the training and filming of new girls in the gym, and have moved the Jan Live Event to April accordingly. Keep buying downloads! We have more videos to post, and will do so soon!

August 4 - Summer Update and NEXT LIVE EVENT SEP 19!!!!

It's been a great TUFF summer so far. The girls (Cherry, DarkStar, Lizzie, Bria, Laura, Shelby, Steph, Sam) rocked the USA Beach Wrestling championships. Tracey, with the kind support of some generous fans, is on Day 3 of a special wrestling camp in PA. We have added new girls. Filmed some great videos and clips. Adding new sponsors, including WNOR 99 FM as our new radio partner. AND, it's all heading towards the Sep 19 Night of the Champions TUFF Live Event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in VB. Three great fights outdoors...Bria vs Phoenix, Shelby vs Samantha (first fights), Lizzie vs Phoenix. TUFF 09016, coming soon. Also a long, rough grappling fight in the gym between newcomers Laura and Shelby, that took 7 falls and a bloody nose before they were through. TUFF 09015, coming soon. All new girls loved it!

April 22 - Live Event CHANGED to MAY 16/TUFF AT ODU CAMPUS CHAOS Apr 25
The Live Event has shifted to May 16 due to a renovation issue at the Holiday Inn. This means an even better show! Get your tickets now! Don't wait for the next show...the summer can be looong.

Also, TUFF will be doing an exhibition of their skills at ODU's Campus Chaos on Saturday, Apr 25, right before the CageFest at the Ted. So come out to ODU at 5, watch TUFF, and then head to the CageFest!

April 21 - New FIghters Galore at TUFF!
As we prepare for a great Live Event May 16, we have a bunch of new TUFF fighters making their debuts on video and at the show. Val and Em have really impressed us. So did Kelli and Kim, all of whom came and fought this weekend as a tuneup for the fight. Kim unfortunately will not make this next event, but she is a TUFF girl of the future. Amber and Raven will be coming as well, and perhaps more new fighters.

We release two new videos, TUFF 09012, featuring a 4 fall grappling match between strong tough Kelli and tall fitness athlete/model Kim. TUFF 09013 is a 2 out of 3 fall match between the best friends Val and Em, who put on the MMA gloves and go at it on the mat with holds and punches until a victor is decided. The two friends have no problem hitting each other. You will enjoy seeing the new TUFF girls now and on May 2. Get your tickets now!!

The fans who attended the Feb 21 Live Event were treated to NINE incredible matches. This was easily our best event yet. The videos will be posted this week in the order of the fights (below). Two new fighters, Rhobin and Throttle, made their debuts, and each won one of their matches. We expect more new fighters at our next event.

Each match had its own highlights, and we are set up for some great matches / rematches in May. Tentative date is May 2.

Yes, we're moving out of the club scene and into a nicer, classier venue.

The Feb 21 Show has been moved to the Holiday Inn Executive Center, Greenwich Road (off Newtown Road) in Virginia Beach. Doors still open at 5:30, first match 6:30.

Here's the 411:

1. FREE PARKING

2. EASE OF ACCESS - The venue is just off I-264/64 at the Newtown Road exit. Coming from the beach on 264, exit for Newtown South and turn left at Greenwich. Holiday Inn is on your right, can't miss it. From the west or I-64, exit Newtown road and go straight onto Greenwich as you cross Newtown. THIS IS SO MUCH EASIER TO GET TO!

3. CASH BAR - All of your favorite drinks available, and not at inflated Club prices.

4. NO AGE LIMIT - Some of you have asked about bringing the kiddies....BRING EM!

5. MORE VIP SEATS!! Instead of the 50 limit, we now have 80 FRONT ROW SEATS. GET THEM NOW AS SEATING IS LIMITED

6. ROOMS - If you are coming from out of town, we can get you a rate at the Holiday Inn. Nice place, pool, hot tub, you name it.

7. NO TIME CURFEW - So need to rush to finish the show by 845 as we had been required before.

8. VENUE VENUE VENUE – Like other legitimate MMA shows, we’re in a hotel ballroom, not a club where we’re lumped in with jello wrestling and that other junk.

9. STAFF – It’s our staff, not the club staff.

We had 8 incredible matches on the card. The matches were best 2 out of 3 submissions or 10 minute time limit, with a 5 minute overtime if tied.

DEC 3 UPDATE - Live Event Venue CHANGED to Peabody's

Through the great assistance of 96X, we have moved the show from Steppin Out to Peabody's.   Steppin Out unexpectedly is closing its doors, and we were given virtually no warning. 96X made a call, and we're moving to a great venue, Peabody's. Peabody's is at the corner of 21st and Pacific, essentially where I-264 runs into the oceanfront. There is a lot of free parking in the city lots near the venue, and the venue is awesome! We are able to add more front row VIP seats, and fans who want to stay and party at Peabody's afterwards can do so for free.

And, Nick Chappell from 96X will be wrestling a TUFF girl at halftime...come watch Nick take us on!

SEPT 21 UPDATE - Live Show Results, New Girls Coming, New Video

We had a rocking Live Event Sat night Sept. 20 at Steppin Out. 11 matches, including one that lasted 40 minutes and ended in a draw. Results:

New Video - TUFF 08023. Lizzie vs Maddie, wearing UFC gloves..and PUNCHING to the body. This was a marathon 18 minute fight that exhausted both girls and whose outcome was in doubt up to the very end. You have to see this one to believe how TUFF girls can fight.

June 5 Update - Sponsors and More!

TUFF is excited to announce a new relationship with the Tidewater, Redskin-owned, 102.1 FM / 1490 AM Sports Radio Station known as The Game. The Game is streamed live at http://www.thegame1021.com.

The Game is currently broadcasting radio advertising for our upcoming June 7 Live Female Submission Wrestling show in VA Beach. We are broadcast once each hour from 8 am - 7 pm between now and the show! They will also be giving away two sets of TUFF tickets during the John Castleberry show.

We also will be linked in on their website, and are planning multiple cross-marketing promotions with FM 102.1.

We have also added Buffalo Beach (http://www.buffalobeachbros.com) as a sponsor. Buffalo Beach is a great family-oriented sports bar in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. They have wings, buffalo burgers, ribs, and more great food and drink! NFL Ticket and other great sports are always being broadcast on multiple televisions. This is where TUFF celebrates after each live show!

The TUFF Girls will be on the beachfront passing out cards and signing autographs this Saturday in anticipation of the evening's live show at the Peppermint Beach Club! Look for the girls!

May 27 Update - JUNE TUFF GIRL OF THE MONTH NAMED

Steel is our first TUFF Girl of the Month. 5'4, 125 lbs, fitness trainer, TUFF fighter. Steel is the first of many TUFF Girls who will be featured. Visit her page on TUFF!
